OK so, if you're in Florida, you'll understand what I'm complaining about.

Ok, since I'm still in middle school, in order to pass the 8th grade, i have to pass the FCAT.

Ok, here's where my rant starts, Apparently, this is new and it's required to get a 4 on the FCAT to pass the grade.

WHY EXACTLY? I know there's alot of kids in my school, and in Florida, who aren't very good with testing!! If their grades are good enough so they can pass all their required classes, LET THEM PASS, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, the Florida edgumacationfghd system thinks is good if the kids Pass the FCAT with a 4.

Did i forget to mention i believe it's for math There's where the fail comes in, not many kids are good in math, i seen grades, hey, maybe it's just me, But i know for a fact that maybe, 70% of kids in my school are good with testing. Apparently, I'm not good with tests, and math for that matter, and I've been sorta getting.. a 1 on the math FCAT, which is a D BTW. But it went up the past two years, but it still stayed in the level 1 range, and which each grade you pass, the harder the FCAT gets~ Yeah, i know it's suppose to but geezus Christ, Not many kids will really keep their notes and study them from the entire year. Which to me is a big, utter, FAIL.

I found a stamp on dA telling the advantages and disadvantages of FCATwhy are you reading this?. I know the education of the nation has gone down or something, and I'm only complaining because i don't like it and I'm a lazy student. But i even asked my friends, and they don't like it either and they make better grades than me

Anyway, off topic, Lot's of kids Aren't good with testing, and it stresses them out, which makes them forget things, even the simplest of things. It also stresses teachers out too, it makes them loose track of their teaching time of what they want to teach kids, and a big, BIG, waste of money on paper, and pencils. What sucks more is that, even if the kid doesn't have a good grade on the gigantic test, let them take it again. I think they do that, but I'm always tired after testing. But i don't blame kids who skip the FCAT, it's annoying.

And even if the kid does fail on math, reading, or fucking science, don't blame them for forgetting from 180 days of school of learning. and the other half of the year is summer where kids can forget almost everything.

What i also did i used spell check and it turns out i misspelled the simplest words, OTL.
But the SAT and ACTfgjd whatever tests they're called are important i know, and I'm not planning on failing those. But seriously, oh my I'm talking about myself~ I do want to pass tests, but i mostly pass them so i can get by, and I'm mostly afraid of life, Butbutbut, When a test Brings you down, and you're not able to pass, that's a kick in the ass, nuts and vagina all together.

I even heard that if you don't pass the FCAT you won't get a high school degree here in Florida...

WHAT THE FUCK? THAT ISN'T COOL FOR ALL THE KIDS WHO MAKE EXCELLENT GRADES IN HIGH SCHOOL AND THEY MAY NOT BE GOOD AT TESTS AT ALL, BUT THEY DO THEIR HOMEWORK, AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING, BUT NOT VERY GOOD ON TESTS, BUT IF THEY DO THAT TO YOU, THATS A LOAD OF NON HIGH SCHOOL DEGREE KIDS.

I can be wrong, ( except the "if you don't get a 4 you don't pass" thing ) but idk, im just mad at the edgumakation~
